Favorite groups and note history
Organize games in private groups and record observations by day.
How to use it
- Open Favorites, enter a name and create a group. Use group tabs to filter games.
- Hover over the final Notes column icon to read entries by date. Select the icon or the notes icon in its detail card. Use Create and add to create a group and include the game immediately. Select the desired groups and clear the other checkboxes.
- Choose a date, write and save a note. History runs vertically with newest entries first, dates on the left and previews on the right. Select a row to expand it, then Edit to change that entry.

Use groups as watchlists
Save a game when you can explain why you want to follow it. One group might collect direct competitors, another new games with a similar mechanic, and a third possible collaboration targets. A game can belong to several groups at once, so different research tasks share the same private note history. The star opens group selection. Ungrouped keeps a game saved until you decide where it belongs. Creating a group also adds the selected game to it.
Write notes that test a hypothesis
Record the date, what you observed, and what you will check next. Instead of writing that a game is growing, describe the visible change and when you plan to evaluate it again. New notes appear first, and a longer entry expands within its row. Edit the relevant date to correct a note without changing other days. Compare later observations with your original hypothesis to distinguish a lasting improvement from a brief spike. Removing a game from favorites clears its groups but keeps its private notes for future reference.

Favorite groups and notes
The star combines favorites and groups. An empty star favorites the game in Ungrouped and opens the group picker; a filled star opens the same picker. Membership in any group means the game is favorited.
Ungrouped is selected when no custom groups are selected. The gear beside the tabs opens creation, renaming and deletion of the selected group. Create and name your own groups.
All favorites and Ungrouped tabs help locate games. Column headings are centered. Favorites has no rank column; its last Notes column opens the game's groups and private notes.
Hover over the icon to preview entries by date; click to add or edit notes. The game detail shows its groups and latest dated note. The notes icon opens the same dialog.
Assigning a group there also favorites the game if needed; reading or saving notes does not change favorites. The dialog header shows the same icon, name, studio and genre as the list. Enter a new group name and select Create and add to create it and include the game immediately; existing memberships remain.
Use checkboxes to select the desired groups and clear others. Renaming preserves membership; deleting a group keeps games and notes. Notes are organized by your device's calendar dates: history is a vertical list with newest entries first.
Each row has a date on the left and a one-line preview on the right. Select a row to expand its text and Edit to change it. For a new note, choose a date, write and save.
Each day has its own entry; saving again changes only that date. Empty text deletes that day's entry. Groups and notes are private to your account and persist across devices.
