Change language and appearance
Settings let you choose your preferred language and a light or dark interface.
How to use it
- Select the gear icon in the service header.
- Choose a language or leave Auto to use your device's language.
- Choose Day, Night or automatic appearance. Your choice is saved in this browser.

Browser preferences and account controls differ
Language and appearance are saved in the current browser, so another device may look different. Automatic mode follows device settings.
Shared-computer example
Example: after temporarily changing language, a user restores Auto and leaves appearance system-controlled; no game data or permissions change.
Automatic language and appearance follow device or browser settings, so the interface may change after a system preference changes. An explicit selection is saved in the current browser and need not transfer to another device. If the language changes unexpectedly, check Auto first. Appearance affects presentation only; it does not alter metrics, permissions or connected-game state.

The gear covers appearance and profile settings. Use access management when the issue concerns rights to a game.
When sharing your screen, mention the selected language because labels can differ even when the feature remains in the same place.

Device preferences
- Language: Auto or one of 14 languages
MARPLA's public social-preview image is always in English. After the service opens, Auto follows the device's primary language: English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Indonesian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Turkish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Thai or Polish. Unsupported device languages use the primary English interface.
A manual choice is saved in this browser. Game names and user notes are not translated.
- Auto / Day / Night
Auto follows the device's light or dark theme. Other choices are saved in the browser. Day mode uses light surfaces and contrasting text for navigation, game headers, cards and popups.
- Search / account
⌘K or Ctrl+K focuses search. The avatar opens your profile or sign-in. The public market and this guide need no registration.
