What a rank means
A position is an observation of one Roblox shelf at one time. It indicates visibility, but not impression volume or why the game appeared. Different lists serve different purposes, so their ranks cannot be converted into one global position.
History over snapshot
An illustrative move from rank 40 to 8 should be checked against CCU and how long the position held. If the next observation returns to 40, it was brief. Do not credit an update without a release record and acquisition evidence.
Store the shelf name with every rank because number 8 in one list is not comparable with number 8 in another. Position history is distribution context, not a complete impression log; authorized owner acquisition reports are needed for that.

Roblox Charts positions
MARPLA reads every page of non-empty Roblox Charts, not only the first shelves. All Roblox Charts contains a directory of every chart from the latest complete snapshot; known names follow the interface language. Open a chart to see games in the exact Roblox order.
The All Roblox Charts page heading includes a back arrow to the directory; the selected chart title uses the shared table heading, with sync on the right. Its search field accepts a Roblox link, Universe ID, Place ID, or part of a game/studio name, and a matching row keeps the source rank. The icon-only sync button requests a new complete snapshot of every chart; a shared server lease prevents parallel collection.
Rank is the source position; sorting by CCU, visits, rating or age is exploratory and does not change the Roblox rank. A public game card shows its current positions and each chart's size. An empty block means the game was absent from the latest complete chart set, not a rank below the final row.
Roblox Charts order
Shelves follow the Roblox Charts Computer / All Locations page order verified on September 3, 2026: Top Trending, Up-and-Coming, Top Playing Now, Fun with Friends, Top Revisited, Top Earning, Top Paid Access, Top Rated, Most Popular, followed by music experiences and genre trends. Genres start with RPG, Sports & Racing and Shooter. Voice Chat, subscriptions and learning come last when returned by the source.
Music Top 100 contains music rather than games and is not created in the game catalog. Unknown new shelves remain at the end. Game ranking within each shelf is unchanged; sorting makes no additional Roblox requests.
