Edit a product's name, price or icon

Make a product's main changes in its card.

How to use it

  1. Select the name beside the icon to edit it. Edit the description and price below.
  2. For a new image, select the pencil at the icon's top right. Download icon from Roblox saves the current image to your computer.
  3. Toggle Available for purchase by clicking the checkbox or its immediate surroundings. The caption and empty space do not toggle it. Select the main Save button. Confirm the changes for Roblox.
  4. Your new image remains visible while uploading and processing. You can close the card: the upload continues in the background.

Advice and practical context

Editing a live product

Name, description, price, availability, and icon affect a live Roblox object. Group only related edits and record starting values so later analysis can identify what changed. A new image can remain in processing after submission.

After saving

A successful button press is not yet confirmed Roblox state. Wait for status and reread the product when needed. Repeating a request after an uncertain outcome can create an unwanted sequence of live changes.

Check price in Robux and in the product type's context; changing availability can stop new purchases. The icon has separate processing. If part of a multi-field edit fails, reread confirmed state and retry only the unresolved part.

Technical detailsCalculations, permissions and behavior

Product card and groups

In Products by day, the group table or Payments, click a product name or icon. The card loads current Roblox settings: name, description, base price, sale availability and icon. Toggle availability by clicking the checkbox or the small area around it; the caption on the right does not change this setting.

Download the current icon as a file, or click the pencil on the image to choose a PNG/JPG up to 3 MB. Choosing a file only previews it; nothing is published yet. The shared Save button saves only changed fields.

For Roblox edits, review the changes and select Apply to Roblox; group-only changes save immediately without a Roblox request. The server checks permissions, game membership and concurrent changes, sends only changed fields and reads the result back. Confirmed prices enter history; icons can await processing or moderation.

For an uncertain result, sync the card before resubmitting. You need the owner/admin role and developer-product:read/write or game-pass:read/write scopes for the game. The public storefront grants read access only; immutable items and price optimization are not bypassed.

A player's regional price can differ from the base price. For unmatched items, the card automatically resumes the Roblox catalog import, including icons, and looks for an unambiguous match. Retry Sync in the card after a failure.

You can select an image immediately and edit the title; loading preserves these drafts. Until identity and permissions are verified, submitting edits is disabled, with the reason below. A merely similar name never grants permission to edit an item.

Card layout

Edit the name directly in the title beside the icon. The group selector has no visible label and shares the row below with Download icon from Roblox; the availability checkbox sits below Developer Product / Game Pass and ID. Product buttons below an advice open their cards for price editing; Back to advice returns to the original advice.

Below the description, one row holds Price, Now / Schedule, the date and AI advice. Advice is highlighted when current product advice needs attention. The card is 10% wider; fields stack on narrow screens.

At the card's top-right beside the title, a large Price block shows the confirmed value and Robux symbol, not an unsaved draft. The embedded chart does not repeat the icon, name or price summary; standalone charts retain their header. The date field has no visible label.

Each milestone chip keeps its checkbox, name and count on one line; only whole chips wrap.

New group from the card

Select the plus beside the group, enter a unique name up to 60 characters, and press OK or Enter. The group is saved immediately, appears in the list and is assigned to this product. Other card drafts, including the name and icon, are not submitted.

Changing to an existing group uses the shared Save button. Failure preserves the draft and previous assignment. Groups require MARPLA product-management permission, not a Roblox key.

Chart inside the card

The bottom of the card uses the same product chart as the list: Units sold and Sales total, Total / Per player, periods and a selected day, day/week/month intervals, line/smooth/bars, milestones and prices. The card starts with purchases. It reads this item's own archive; unknown units are never calculated from price, and missing DAU stays unknown in calculations while pink connectors mark chart gaps.

Daily price is the last known price for that UTC day. Only automatic milestones of actual price changes are enabled by default; manual and other milestones can be enabled explicitly. Weekly and monthly per-player values are weighted by daily active users.

The save footer remains accessible while scrolling the chart.

Background icon upload

After Apply to Roblox, you can close the card: uploading continues in the open app. Your image stays visible in the card and product lists while Roblox processes it. After the server receives the file, MARPLA keeps a private preview for reopening the card.

Only a ready new Roblox thumbnail replaces it. Failed or uncertain responses retain the preview with a warning; writes are never retried automatically.

Fast icons and shared milestones

The pencil at the icon's top-right is available immediately: select an image before Roblox settings finish loading. Cancelling the native file picker closes only that picker: the card, edited fields and previous image remain. Sending still requires verified permissions and confirmation.

The filename and discard button do not occupy card space. Public Roblox icons are cached in the browser for reopening; new versions load without hiding the previous image. Private previews never enter the public cache.

Milestone type selections are shared by all products in the same group, including Ungrouped, in cards and lists, regardless of metric or Per player mode. Preferences persist in this browser; other groups keep separate selections.

Ungrouped

Every unassigned item automatically belongs to Ungrouped. It participates in comparisons with the same totals and drill-down as other groups. Items without daily data remain visible; unknown sales are not replaced by zero.

Deleting a custom group returns its items to Ungrouped.

Groups in the list

Select Groups in the filter row, then the desired group, including Ungrouped. Its products and combined chart open below. Column headings sort the table.

A product name or icon opens its card. To create a group or move a product, choose the group in the card and use the shared Save button. Group assignment is saved for the whole team in MARPLA without changing Roblox.

All products and Groups return to the full list. Sync arrows rotate throughout the request; reduced-motion settings use a loading status without animation.
