Manage contacts and privacy

You choose how people can contact you and whether they can start new conversations.

How to use it

  1. Add Telegram or Discord in your profile and check consent to show your contacts.
  2. Enable or disable Allow new messages.
  3. You can block someone in the conversation's participant list. You can delete your own messages for everyone.

Advice and practical context

Contact visibility and messaging are separate choices

Showing Telegram or Discord and allowing a new chat solve different problems. Configure each based on who should be able to reach you.

Example of a practical profile

Example: a team seeking partners publishes a dedicated business contact, but allows new conversations only when someone can review them consistently.

A visible contact supports moving to Telegram or Discord, while Allow new messages controls inquiries inside MARPLA. Disabling new conversations does not replace blocking a participant in an existing chat. Use a dedicated work handle before enabling contact visibility when a personal account should remain private. During a dispute, preserve the necessary context before deleting one of your own messages.

Blocking does not replace caution

Check participants before sharing private material. Deleting your own message can correct a mistake, but cannot guarantee that a file was not saved.

Contacts & access

Add Telegram and Discord in your profile and link Roblox when needed. Roblox lookup only finds accounts already linked to MARPLA. A one-use link is valid for seven days and is permanently closed after the first person joins; it cannot be reused or passed to another person.

Other members do not see your email. You can disable new conversations, block a participant, leave a group and delete your own messages for everyone. Leaving revokes access to the group's messages and files.

These are private chats with server-side access checks, not end-to-end encryption.
