Create a game website

Only the game owner can create this optional website after verifying the Roblox API connection.

How to use it

  1. Select Create game website on your game card. Template preview does not create a public website.
  2. Edit bilingual copy, gallery, updates and contacts. In Content & sections, reorder sections and toggle Roblox data. Online and upcoming events refresh automatically; RSVP opens Roblox, with times in UTC.
  3. Save your draft and review the preview. Select Publish when ready. Sources and Play clicks appear in Analytics.
  4. Set search title and description under SEO, and create a tagged link for each creator. The address is fixed after first publication.

Advice and practical context

One link per source

Give each creator a separate link: utm_source=youtube and utm_campaign=creator_name. In Analytics, compare page views and Play clicks over the same period. One hundred views and twenty clicks give a 20% website click rate; they do not prove twenty game sessions. Do not compare that rate directly with Roblox retention, which has a different denominator.

Choose the first change

If visitors open the site but rarely press Play, check the first screen on a phone. Is the game loop clear? Is the button visible? Does the artwork match the promise made by the video? Change one element at a time and record the publication date. Give reviewers real images and concise game facts. Give partners a working contact, while keeping player details, revenue and internal reports private. Save new copy as a draft first and check both language versions before publishing.

Website media, press kit and saved statistics

Video displays a large 16:9 poster before Play. It uses the Roblox or YouTube video thumbnail, or a custom poster uploaded in the Media editor. Poster and player have matching dimensions.

The browser tab uses the game icon. Video streams directly without copying to MARPLA. FAQ supports text, images and YouTube; the PDF press kit uses published site fields.

Counters read the database, retain values on temporary errors and update in the background. Investor benchmarks require a public marketplace listing.

Return to a game and choose metrics

Reload preserves the game, section and selected chart from the URL. A loading state is shown while game access is resolved. All my games returns to the library and clears the URL selection.

In demographics choose MAU (unique users over 30 days) or DAU (per day) instead of History; each metric is requested separately for the selected dimension. The MAU share table applies only to MAU. Retention Week displays an unweighted mean of seven daily percentages for a complete Monday–Sunday week.

It is not weekly cohort retention; weeks with missing days are omitted.

Game website

A game website is optional. The owner of a game verified through its Roblox API key selects Create game website. Previewing a template creates nothing.

Edit Russian and English copy, section order, hero artwork, gallery, updates and contacts. Empty contacts stay hidden. Online players, visits, favorites, ratings and upcoming public Roblox events with RSVP links load automatically.

Hide them in Content & sections if needed. Online refreshes every minute, events every five minutes; event times use UTC. Save draft keeps changes within your team; Publish releases them publicly.

Game website and its settings appear on the left below the game name and icon. The owner can unpublish it. SEO lets you choose the address before first publication, Title, Description and tagged creator links.

Canonicals, language versions, VideoGame markup and a published-page sitemap are automatic. Updates have their own addresses. Analytics shows page views, Play and press-kit clicks, sources, campaigns, devices and pages for 7, 30 or 90 days.

Views are not unique people, and a Play click does not confirm a game session. Private Roblox analytics are never copied to the website.
