Understand ad comparisons
Compare campaigns within one MARPLA group, and creatives within one campaign.
How to use it
- Open the relevant campaign group. Stopped members retain history but leave current comparisons.
- Sync before preparing the AI assignment. Comparisons need confirmed current serving and matching periods.
- Read the campaign name, ID and group beside its preview in the advice. Click the image to enlarge it.
Advice and practical context
Why comparison is scoped
Campaigns inside one MARPLA group share a comparison purpose, while creatives within one campaign share its settings. Mixing unrelated groups introduces budget, audience, and timing differences that cannot be assigned to the image.
Confirm delivery
Saved status states when a condition was observed; unknown older periods are not reconstructed. Require matching windows and current serving. Do not compare an image merely attached to a campaign with a variant whose delivery is confirmed.
A stopped member can provide historical context but should not be mixed with current active rows without period labels. AI advice needs exact names or IDs; visually similar thumbnails are insufficient to connect older records.

Which ads enter comparisons
A standalone campaign is one Roblox campaign. A campaign group is MARPLA's grouping of separate campaigns, each with its own creatives and state. Compare only operating campaigns within one group, or operating creatives within one campaign.
There is no shared ranking across groups or standalone campaigns. Stopped, completed and archived candidates retain historical metrics but leave current rankings. A saved group-stop result is a historical display exception: finalists retain their colors and signals at the stop, while individually excluded campaigns stay gray.
It is not a live ranking. A stopped campaign shows a dash for its signal; old results are not a reason to restart it. Enabled campaigns qualify only with confirmed serving; review and unknown delivery are excluded.
Membership alone does not confirm creative-level delivery: when Roblox does not supply a creative's current serving state, no comparative signal is assigned. A live group signal uses only its operating members. After a group-wide stop, the advertising list and group details show the saved finalist signal with its capture time; resuming restores the live signal.
Separate groups are not ranked against one another. For AI, status remains fresh for two hours after observation; stale data requires synchronization. MARPLA records when it observes activation, pausing and creative membership changes.
These are confirmation times; exact Roblox transition times and events before tracking may be unknown. Scheduled start and general update time do not replace pause history. AI receives these limitations and checks matching comparison periods.
Advice places the campaign name, ID, group and clickable previews beside the corresponding metrics. Reusing an image never merges separate campaigns. If a candidate was paused or status became stale after downloading the assignment, the new comparison is rejected: sync advertising and download a fresh assignment.
